Waterparks coming back to Minnesota for a rare underplay concert at Varsity Theater

Houston based indie rock band Waterparks are coming back to Minneapolis for the first time in years. Fans have been patiently waiting the bands return ever sense they packed out First Ave in May of 2023. Today, Waterparks announced a tour entirely comprised of underplay shows, where they will be playing small capacity venues. Most of the shows will have no barricade, meaning fans in the front row will be right against the stage. Unfortunately it has been announced that the show in Minneapolis, which is taking place at Varsity Theater, will have a barricade. This will still be an unforgettable night for the roughly 750 people who will score tickets to this rare underplay show.

Waterparks just released a new album titled JINX in late July, and will be debuting plenty of new songs as they hit the road. Additionally, the band has announced that every night will have a unique setlist, playing new songs, deep cuts, and maybe even some never-before-heard tracks.

The band also has 3 night scheduled at The Rave in Milwaukee directly following their stop in Minneapolis. Tickets will almost certainly sell fast, so make sure to set a reminder for 10am on Friday 8/14 when tickets go on sale.
